One Step Closer to Done

shipperxOkay, so all the slate is in and grouted... and cleaned...and cleaned...and cleaned. It's not terribly dusty any more, but I can't seal it until the grout has cured for a couple of weeks. Still, at least it's all in (because damn it was heavy).
And they delivered the kitchen island! I finally have a kitchen island! So today I bought two bar stools for the island. Woot!
I kind of want to put granite on the countertops, but I just cannot afford to do that at the time being, so I'm looking at finishing up what I've got (still some touch up painting, sealing the tile, installing base, and other small little fix-its.) The granite countertops w/ backsplash will be on my 'to do' list for after I pay off what I've done so far. But I'm close to being able to clean my house again to make it habitable.
The light is at the end of the tunnel and it's not even an oncoming train!
