Being Human (Season Finale)
Question: Is George's girlfriend a werewolf? She looks like she's been attacked by one but she didn't turn with the full moon. Is she one who can (Oz's dream) control it? Or has she been cured? Or did the were-ing not take?
Mad Men
Poor Joan. Her husband is a dick. Of course most of the husbands on Mad Men are. LOL at how very good Pete and Trudy are at doing the Charleston. That was the impressive. Roger serenading Jane -- in blackface! -- was jaw droppingly shocking there for a minute. I kept looking at the waiters wondering if there was one that was going to spit in all of their food. Although, if they take Don's suggestion they'll be peeing in their trunks. The Peggy/Pot scenes were of some interest. And Don and Betty's daughter is gonna be such trouble in 1969. You know it!
True Blood
Okay, Vampire Queen was funny. You know she's going to be batshit crazy, but thus far enjoyable crazy. Thought her day room -- where she made Bill 'sun' himself -- was hilarious. The Andy/Jason scenes were also hilarious and Jason kept explaining how his life was so difficult. Sookie's 'plans' are about as ill thought out as Buffy's. And there was some serious time slippage going on. It was daylight when she was walking toward the house and was dark by the time she reached the door, and it really wasn't that far! Am curious what will happen with Jessica and Hoyte, and yet again Hoyte's mom proved what a bitch she is. Now, for my UO. I know that half of fandom is in love with Eric but, for myself, I know that he's written as 'nicer' or whatever in the book, but in the show thus far I still feel he hasn't been given adequate character development for me to actually care. The Godric stuff was a start, but it's been completely ignored thus far. And all his other actions come of as calculated, not emotional. The actor is good looking and he has some interesting moments. I see potential, but if True Blood wants me to care they need to develop Eric so that I have some grasp of what -- if anything -- he actually feels and then give me some reasons to care. Otherwise, he's just mostly pretty. Come on, True Blood. Camp only takes me so far. Give me a reasons to care. [/UO]
OLTL
Fish came 'out' today and, while it is perhaps unrealistic that Layla forgives all that easily and wants him to stay as roommate (because wouldn't that be a tad awkward -- since they've had sex -- for a little while?) I'm still glad she did. I'm glad that Fish will continue to be roomies with Layla and Cris, because it's a soap town and so it's always communal living, and I like this particular three's company. So, to hell with realism, I was happy that they're verging on a group hug. Of course, Fish has already gotten himself in more trouble than he knows, but that's a soap for you. :) Elsewhere -- Blair has become a fucking idiot. Why in the hell would she even begin to fight for Todd? And, frankly, I haven't budged an inch from wishing that Todd would just DIE!"
