Great? In what way do we define "great"?
Is it "the last 'classic' novel we've read? That would be Jane Austen's "Persuasion"
The last 'best seller'? That's probably G.R.R.Martin's "A Dance with Dragons"
The last 'you've heard of it 'buzzworthy' book"? I don't know "The Help" or "The Hunger Games"
The last 'I really enjoyed it"/"fun" book I've read? "Ready, Player One" by Ernest Cline
That most helpful 'self-help'(?) book that I've recently read? "30 Days to a Well Mannered Dog" by Tamar Geller
The MOST RECENT book that I've read? "The History of Ancient Israel" by Eric Cline (who I assume is no relation to Ernest).
I don't know, for books 'great' depends very much on mood, genre, and what role they fill. I'm not sure what actually constitutes "great"... I mean outside of things like "1984" or "To Kill a Mockingbird."
