Call the Midwife...
Watched this one last night.  I  wasn't overwhelmed.  It made me wish that someone in the U.K. would produce Connie Willis' "Blackout" and "All Clear" for PBS though.  I'd be more interested in that.  (Not sure why Call the Midwife made me think of "Blackout" though.)

Once Upon A Time
So this week they remained primarily in Storybrooke except for flashbacks, while Fairytale Land's story wasn't moved much.  A few observations...

* I like Regina recognized she was doing the same thing as her mother and thus let Henry go.  I'd like Storybrooke Regina to be treated as a human.  They don't have to make her 'good' but I think she should be human.

* Plenty of hints that Regina's mom, Cora, is in fact the Queen of Hearts.  For one thing, she was banished though the looking glass. Her spell book also had a heart on it.  And, I wonder whether Cora is another fairytale character as well as it seemed that Rumplestilskin was implying that Regina had been promised to him at birth.

*  Poor Sneezy being the guinea pig to test the boundary.  That said, from a writing sense, I can see why choosing him works as he has no story or identity for him to lose.  Sucks for him that he still has the allergy, though.  And, honestly, if you were Sneezy... I'd think you'd choose to remain in the world of allergy shots and Claritin.

*  Heh at Dr. Whale noting that the Nuns are fairies... and "Does that mean that we can date them?"   I'm beginning to wonder whether Whale might in fact be Peter Pan.  His first thought being whether or not they could date fairies/nuns seems very Peter Pan syndrome... and you have to think Peter wouldn't be averse to dating Tinkerbell. Since they have cast both a Hook and a Wendy with no word on a Peter, I don't think it's a theory that can be dismissed quite yet.

* Speaking of random theory.  Since they've cast a Giant... is it possible David/Charming is in fact Jack?  We already know that Charming was poor and willing to do a great deal for his mother.

Revenge

Good grief how do these people keep all of their lies straight?  There are so many overlapping lies with people being told different lies, they're bound to trip up.

* Victoria has told Charlotte one story.  Victoria's husband and Victoria have told Daniel another story.  I doubt that Victoria has told her husband the story that she told Charlotte.  And then there's the lies told to E-manda.  This cannot possibly work long term.

* And did I understand the Emily/Amanda thing correctly and Amily's baby actually is Jacks?  Emily told Amanda that she'd changed the test results to show that the baby is Jack's but Emily didn't actually do that so Amanda's baby actually IS Jack's?

Yep.  This is convoluted.

Upstairs/Downstairs

* Hate Nazi girl from the last season.
* Terribly sorry they killed the monkey.

Boardwalk Empire
Yep, still difficult to find anyone to like.  When Al Capone comes off as the most human character... I think there's a cold characters problem with a show.
