GOT does neat extras for the DVDs since Martin managed to make up his own "ancient histories"  as well as intricate pre-series backstories for his fantasy world.  The DVD's cartoon-illustrate many of these.

Are these from the season 2 set?

The sepia ones are from Season 1 DVDs. The color ones (and there are more of those on YouTube) are Season 2.
