Just in case anyone suffered under the delusion of the comics ever improving for Spike fans, Christos -- writes Spike like a moron -- Gage is writing 10.

Called that months ago.

Worse, I could understand the decision because, while Gage's characterisations are *cough* problematic, he at least structured his series better than S9 which was pointless, stupidly paced, and all over the damn place.

Wow, but how will he write a series centered around women's narratives without making them serve a man like he did with Faith and even Willow???

So I guess there'll be plot. I guess. That's something to... look forward to. But also, he's extremely unfunny so...

Yeah, you've pinpointed another real problem with Gage. On top of some craptastic characterizations, there were some breathtakingly sexist moments in what he wrote as well. It's 'funny' because it's true.
