Yeah re: Vampire Diaries. The really irritating part is that you can tell that the writers are completely unaware of the underlying sexist they are writing into Stefans every reaction in the last couple of years, from the madonna/whore stuff coinciding with Elena's vamping to the posessiveness Amnesia Stefan displayed after half an hour of talking to Elena. These are not good qualities, writers!
Re: Hook, I kind of see him as a pastiche of characters, but as I'm fine with the 'rogue with a heart of gold' they have my (wholly unneeded) permission to proceed. :)
It never hurts to have a charming rogue with a heart around.
And *sigh* re: Charming. I like the guy because he's just so darn earnest, but sadly he is often times a complete dolt.
