Yeah, and I do enjoy their exploiting that. I think the reason it works is that the creepy aspect of Peter Pan was always there, it was just mostly overlooked. But if you're looking at all of it, yeah, there's definitely a creepy factor.

... Which is also why I suspect that when Ariel turns up, Prince Eric will be a douche. Disney really departed from the original Andersen tale. The original Ariel's story was filled with tragedy, and I suspect that this will appeal to the Once writers.
