Yeah, what ljs said about Lord of Scoundrels. Read it for the heroine, not the hero. She's terrific in how she utterly refuses to put up with his bullshit. I think in a lot of ways the book is a response to the usual broody, controlling asshole kind of hero; it's not a perfect book (personally, I like the first half better than the second), but I think it's definitely a worthwhile read when you're in the mood for that sort of thing (for the record, I also really liked Mr. Impossible and His at Night).
