True Blood Series Finale
Well... that happened.
I'm not really complaining (other than the serious lack of Lafayette ) but... eh.
In case anyone wants a line item spoiler of what happened:
* Eric slaughtered the Texas Yakuza (but was kind of cool doing it)
* Eric and Pam bottled Synthetic Sara Newlin "Blood" and became very, very rich... and kept real Sara Newlin chained up in the basement to supply the cure to any vampire who could hock up $100,000.
* So basically Eric and Pam are filthy-rich and enjoying their unlife.
* Sara Newlin going nuts with visions of her dead gay husband.
* Jason hooked up with Hoyt's girlfriend (and it was permanent. Flash foward had them with 3 kids).
* Jessica asked Bill to give her away, Hoyt asked Jason to be his best man, and Jessica and Hoyt got married.
* Bill left Andy his house since that stupid plot said he couldn't change his will when he was 'already' dead so Andy was his eldest living relative. He asked Andy to allow Jessica to live there at a rent of $1 a year... and to let it go if she and hoyt forgot to pay (which is sweet for Jessica... but wouldn't Andy be left paying property taxes on a mansion?)
* Bill asked Sookie to kill him with her last fairy light-ball thus allowing her to have a 'normal life'. Sookie agreed, but at the last moment decided that being a fairy was part of her and she just couldn't give that up. Did he still want to die? Yep. So she staked him. The end. (I was actually rather okay with that, though since he was dying anyway his asking her to stake him was still apropriately Bill-douche of him).
Flash-foward --
It's Thanksgiving and everyone alive is still happy.
- The only sight we have of Lafayette the entire episode is that he is still happy with James the handsome vampire.
- Jason and Hoyt's girlfriend have three kids.
- Sam returns for Thanksgiving with his girlfriend (wife?) and a little girl who looks exactly like his girlfriend (whose name I cannot remember).
- Andy & Holly (who I assume got married) + Adilyn + Holly's son etc. looked like a happy family.
- Arlene looked happy (was she still with Vampire Keith? I don't remember).
- "Newbie" vamp Willa was there (that was Willa wasn't it?).
- Jessica and Hoyt were happy and together.
- And Sookie was massive preggers by some human man whose face we never see.
The end. Again.
