It's just curious to me that 120/80 has gone from being "good" (if you are over a certain age), to being "normal"... to being indicative of a "pre-hypertension". Thats slowly ratcheting down the number.
And, yeah, the reading does change. Often (And after cleaning out my brother-in-law's mother's home when she moved to Sweden, she left behind a cuff so I now have 2 cuffs and they both read basically the same, so I think they're fairly accurate).
There are still lots of times where my 2nd number is in the 70s. But it also occasionally hits 90. I am just not sure what to do about it. (my first number is usually in the 101 - 110 range so I don't worry about it much).
