I seem to be on a fic binge this weekend. I would blame it on the weather but considering that those in the Northeast seemed to have been plunged into a snowy hell it seems rather wussy of me to complain that it's windy in the 20s and...um... sunny and clear. So, I guess I'll just say I'm in a fanfic mood.

Anyway, last night I read (and now I rec) [livejournal.com profile] st_salieri's The Use of Memory It picks up near the end of "The Girl in Question" and contains both Spangel and Spuffy. I thought she handled re-Spuffy about as believably as can be done.

And she is working on a sequel picking up at the end of "Not Fade Away" that incorporates Joss's comments about what would have happened to Angel and Spike at the end of the night. It's called Ring the Bell Backwards

One of the advantages of not having read much fic in the last...erm... year is that there seems to have been several really good stories created or are in the work. I'm enjoying going through them (so, yeah, I'm behind and I'm sure there's some great fanfic I haven't rec'd yet or read yet. So I'm not ignoring anyone who is working on fic. I probably haven't gotten to it yet. :)
