They kerfuffled without me!
Dec. 4th, 2006 09:18 pmSo, I gather that there's been a kerfuffle, and I missed it.
Of course, JM inspiring wankage isn't exactly news (even when you'd think that these days there are a reduced number of opportunities for wank). Still, from looking at the residual wank, I'm guessing that JM experienced a moment with foot in mouth disease. I haven't found the quote or what it's about (and don't feel obliged to tell me. It's okay. I really don't have to know.) But I don't know whether to simply roll my eyes at the wanking, or stand in awe that people still find the energy to wank over JM. For one small man, he sure can inspire an impressive amount of controversy.
Anyway, personally, I've been distracted by a different kerfuffle -- the Alabama coaching controversy (Explanation, UofA fired the coach and is currently searching for a new coach elsewhere -- wackiness ensues with wild rumors, flame wars, and the media going berzerk.) I find myself in the curious position of having to agree with Paul Finebaum... again. (*shudder* Hate agreeing with Finebaum). Still, he was in the right of it in his recent column when he wrote:( Read more... )
Anyway, with a great deal of work keeping me busy, I haven't been online much and have simply listened to the radio and newspaper wankage over the coaching search (and still no coach in sight), so I missed JM wankage round 6,000,004.
On a slightly different subjects:
I still haven't finished my bathroom renovation.
I'm having to make a second try at designing a house for my sister (because the current design breaks the budget... like I told her that it would. She wouldn't believe me when I said she couldn't have everything she wanted and keep it within budget, but the contractor had better success in making clear to her that she can't have everything... unless she's willing to pay for it.
I've begun my
noel_of_spike story, but god only knows when I will find the time to finish it. (But I'm determined to do so).
And, as far as TV goes: ( Heroes )
