Nice Weekend
Oct. 22nd, 2007 09:19 amWell, I had really wanted to post Chapter 2 of my fanfic this weekend but between the big project/tight deadline at work followed by the inevitable "weekend consumed by football", I didn't manage to actually accomplish much anything. I'll have to redouble efforts tonight.
On a happier note (apologies to
spikeylover for what follows):

Happy dance of joy, joy, joy! We beat Tennessee!!! Woot! Actually, we WHIPPED Tennessee! And, you have to understand, we loathe Tennessee. It's an old, old rivalry between universities and added to that we hate Tennessee's coach way more than we hate the rival university, so beating the snot out of the Big Orange is a very sweet thing. Woohoo! Roll Tide! And glad to add to the misery of Fat Phil. :)
(On a slightly more dowbeat note Auburn - my actual alma mater - lost to LSU. I'm having to agree with friends. I think LSU's Les Miles must practice voodoo because that last call was insane. It worked, so he comes off as being crazy like a fox, but I half think it worked because everyone was going WTF?! during the play. Calling a pass at that juncture was nuts. But, it worked. However, a small "War Eagle!" just for solidarity sake. ).
