Returning to the Land of The Living
Jan. 11th, 2011 06:32 pmSomewhat better today. Less moaning in misery. Head doesn't feel like it will explode. Haven't run a fever today. Still a little dizzy and of course there's the cough that I've had forever now, but the fever and incredible sinus headache have eased.
The ice/snow storm seemingly pretty much debilitated the area yesterday (I say... having not even poked my head outside) so I'm mostly certain that the office didn't even open yesterday (I called in sick but only got the office answering machine) . Got an actual person today when calling in sick. There's still some snow and a few flurries today, but really it's primarily the ice that makes driving treacherous and given the school closings listed on TV it must have still been less than nice out today (again, I never stepped a toe outside).
I did manage to keep my consciousness last night to watch the BCS National Championship. Auburn won. Auburn alum in me yells "War Eagle."
Hopefully I'll be well enough tomorrow to go to work.
