-  Still not watching the news.  I'm kind of sick of the world at the moment.

- Watched Winter's Bone this weekend.  Jennifer Lawrence was good and, wow, that movie is kinda depressing.

- Have had fantastic weather the last couple of days, which is always nice.

- Saw that James Marsters and Charisma Carpenter will be on an episode of Supernatural.  That could potentially be fun.

- Although I have to say I don't think I've ever been as 'meh' about an upcoming fall TV Season.

- Maybe that's why I'm ready for football season to start...?

- Saw the Season 9  previews.  So Buffy's strapping new Vampire-Hunter-Guy gets a cover (with Buffy) before Spike does.  And...um... everyone else too.  Mm-hmm.  Not like he was the only one left off of the Season 8 finale cover also.  But, I'm sure it's nothing.   Good thing cynicism never fails in the Whedonverse.  I wouldn't want to be surprised or anything.

- Speaking of, saw the "Angel"  covers too.  Jeez, Angel, are you sure you haven't suffered a massive head injury and had your brains fall out?  Just askin'.  'Cause, you know, your 'strategery' skills are looking dubious.   (This will not work out well.  See:  cynicism in the Whedonverse).

- Good thing I've had OLTL's identical-non-identical-brainwashed-idiot-savant-twin-who-stole-Todd's-life retcon to giggle about all week. I'll heart OLTL forever for giving me days worth of giggles over that one!  *snort*  I may even forgive the "Rapey and the Mental Patient - Part II" storyline.  (Oh, hell, who am I kidding, I'm never forgiving that). But  identical-non-identical-brainwashed-idiot-savant-twin-who-stole-Todd's-life retcon, complete with cheesy manufactured 'flashbacks'?  Awesome!
