Happy Thanksgiving, Americans on my friends list.

We did the traditional:  Turkey (brined Emeril-style and smoked in a green egg) and cornbread stuffing with gravy and cranberry sauce.

Also my curried butternut squash soup, quick pickled asparagus, and cream corn.

An assortment of desserts including pumpkin cheesecake.

Oh... and moonshine.  (not kidding about the moonshine.  I'm not sure where my brother-in-law got it.  It was actually...er... delicious.  Coconut flavored.  Go figure).

We've basically spent the evening with a fire in Sis's outdoor fireplace (weather was gorgeous today and only a little cool after dark, perfect for a fire)  drinking and eating gingersnaps (not the moonshine, which was served more aperitif style but wine and beer).  So I'm kind of tipsy at the moment.

Hope everyone had a good one.
