Nothing on Tv but Game of Thrones was replacing on HBO. I was still reading book I or beginning book II when the series was on. Now that I'ge read the series, I was impressed by how many tiny nuggets of information were planted early in the series such as Danny's handmaid mentioning the men without faces, or Jaime mentioning seeing the the flaming sword, or the asshole at the wall mentioning Mance. Lots unnoticeable details that you only notice on rewatch in retrospect.
