Sorry that I haven't answered old comments and stuff. Was away 90% of the weekend and was buried at work before that. So, I'm not ignoring anyone.

Oh, and Project Runway had their fashion show. Just like last year where they had Austin also make a show as a decoy show so as to prevent people spoiling who made the top three, all four remaining designers have a runway show. I was sorry that Nick lost last week because he seemed to have potential, but the four who were left at the end of last week's show, are the four who had runway shows last week. Who knows who is eliminated in next week's ep. Anyway, unknowing which show is the decoy show, all four shows are here:

First impressions (which can change when seeing the garments in motion. Last year I changed which collection I liked between seeing the photos and seeing the outfits in motion on the runway so I reserve the same right when talking about the photos of this years collections).

I find Chloe's designs to be somewhat disappointing. Honestly, I don't think I like it very much. In fact (shockingly) I may like it least of all the shows on the runway.

Kara surprised me. I actually like several of her outfits. She turned out better than I would have expected.

The same goes for Santino. Shockingly, I think he did indeed produce many pretty things and they weren't just baby-doll dresses or glommed all over with whickety-wack. I -- gasp -- think he learned something during Project Runway

Daniel's collection has some nicely tailored outfits (at least at first glance they appear so). Considering that he's the youngest of the designers I'm surprised that much of his collection looks like it's designed for professional women.

Who knows who will win. It's often impossible to guess with the judges.

And the wire article on the runway shows:

Santino certainly seemed to have finally listened to the judges, but some of his clothes still don't seem to fit the models quite right.

Chloe is ehhh, I like color but even for me Kara made some strange choices.

Daniel I could see wearing. But I wonder if that counts against him in fashion?

Curiously, the more I look at them the more they somewhat change. Chloe's collection improves on viewing. Santino's make a decent first impression but the more you really look at the proportions, the more questionable they are.

Every collection has a misstep or two, but Daniel's seems the best constructed collection. (And, yeah as far as a 'what would you wear', Daniel's is closer to things that I would pick, but I don't know whether that's a good or bad thing in judging.

The more I look at Santino's the more none of the bodices seem right. Either too big or hitting the body right.

I do appreciate the lack of stuff thrown all over though.

The biggest difference between Santino and Chloe is that Chloe still understands the female shape, and Santino still doesn't.

He's managed to restrain himself a bit and learn some elegance, but if you don't know where to put a waistline, it's not going to help that much. He shuns natural waistlines and empires, going for something slightly above one and below the other. The problem is, it creates fullness where there oughtn't be fullness. When you make a 2 lb model look fat, beware!

Chloe's collection is cohesive and atttractive. Daniel's is interesting - I want to see it in motion, too. Kara's is all OVER the place.
