shipperxAt work, I've been busy and at home I've been sick. Whatever mystery illness I had last week seems to have only been phase one. No more fever and chills but it settled into my joints which hurt instead. Somewhat better now but still shy of 100%
Have been reading 'Lure of the Moonflower'. But I seem to be out of sync with the authors voice. One of the two heroines claimed that sometimes people didn't like her because they thought she came off as smug, which identified my problem with both heroines. There's something about their quippiness that bugs.
Actually it reminds me of Meg Cabot's authors voice. Nothing wrong with it. It just doesn't endear characters to me.
