Ah well, my sister is driving me nuts and driving my mother nuts. It's frustrating when you see people making totally nonsensical decisions. Ah well. Her life and their money to waste.
As for me, I bought a new mattress today. Whee! Should be delivered Tuesday, and now I have to fish 100 books from under my bed.
Also, believe it or not, I finally, finally, finally finished the first draft of chapter seven of Perfect Vengeance. Whoo-hoo! Now I have to edit the hell out of it.

Date: 2006-05-06 02:56 pm (UTC)We're STILL looking for furnishings for my mother's home, so we were looking for a guest room bed (not mattress). I'd always told mom not to buy a mattress. I'd just give them mine, and I'd buy one. We ended up at a shop of a local manufacturer. It was well priced. They'd deliver for free, so I just went "what the hell" and bought it. The one I have is 12 years old. I was college-age poor when I bought it, so it wasn't exactly a high end mattress meant to last forever. So yay! New mattress!
