Hi - I adore this story, especially the way you're handling Spike's relationship with his mother. I'm writing a newly-vamped-Spike fic myself and tearing my hair out in rage over Lies My Parents Told Me, and the Spike/Anne stuff there that I just fervently wish had never happened. Trying to decide whether to simply ignore it :)
