Nice schedule.

But just as I was reading this, I got an very succinct e-mail from a friend and promptly thought of YOU! (And yes, over here in Vicksburg, we also are prayin' for rain!)

HOW DRY IS IT?

It's so dry that the Baptists are starting to baptize by
sprinkling, the Methodists are giving out wet-wipes,
the Presbyterians are giving out rain-checks, and
the Catholics are praying for the wine to turn back
into water!

How lazy are you when you like when there's a block of shows you want to watch on the same network on the same night? When you can just plonk yourself down on the sofa get comfortable and not even change channels? That's why I love NBC Mondays and Thursdays when there's at least two solid hours to watch. (And still miss Fox Sundays when you had Simpsons, Futurama, and X-Files.)

Yesterday, August 2007 became the wettest month on record for Madison in the over 100 years of keeping weather records. And that does not count the two major storm systems that went through yesterday afternoon and evening. Or the one that came through this morning. Or the 80% chance we have of rain tonight. Flooding isn't anymore fun then dry.
