Owen Wilson Tried to Commit Suicide?

Owen Wilson tried to commit suicide?  It seems that the hospital where he has been admitted won't say, but the rumors (as they're swirling around nearly all the entertainment sites at this point) seem to indicate that he took a drug overdose and slashed his wrists.  How sad.

Because of the HIPAA rules (national standards for privacy in health care) no hospital can give out ANY information (including even if the patient is being seen at that facility) without consent from the patient.

I know. Very sad. Hopefully he gets the help that he needs.

I heard that today and it just stunned me! I like him SO very much, I'd hate to think he'd do that to himself.

I'm not a big fan of his, but this is very sad if it's true. I hope it's just a rumor and it turns out he just fell and smashed his head or something.

Yeah, I wasn't surprised that the hospital wouldn't say. Just that it hadn't been confirmed. And, yes, it terribly sad. I do hope he gets the help that he needs.

It seems as though it's true, and if so, that's so sad and such a waste. Hopefully he will get the help he needs.
