Snow

They're predicting snow. Yeah. Right. Surrrreee. We can't get rain and now they're predicting snow for the first time in a decade? We'll see. 9 times out of 10 it turns out simply to be rainy and miserable, which considering the droubt, we'll take the rain. I'll believe snow when I see it. The last time it snowed to the point that anyone can bother to remember it was 1992.

Same here. Everyone was all atizzy talking about all the snow and rain/snow mix we were gonna get this morning. 2 to 4 inches! So far? Nuthing, nuthing, nuthing.

We've gotten a light dusting, enough to sit on a few trees. Not even a 1/2" though. But, it's so rare here that it has the news going wall to wall practically begging for snow.

When I woke up we had nothing. Right now we've got about 1/2", so we get the visual effect but nothing particularly fun to do with it except marvel that we got any snow at all.
