I knew it!

Damn it.

ETA: So maybe I didn't know it. I don't know.

I thought for sure that Juliet was a goner, but Juliet lives!... er... sort of. Though not for long. But then no one does. And, I guess, Locke really is dead... or was dead. Or something. Damn, Lost plays havoc with verb tenses!

I love my cracked-out WTF show.

And though I've always been determined to be ambivalent about the Quad of Doom, I am now such a Sawyer/Juliet enthusiast!

I suppose the finale makes for exciting TV in some folks' eyes but it just left me feeling down. I realize with the bomb going off who knows what will happen next season - possibly Dan was right and everyone is still alive in _that_ reality, possibly the bomb didn't work, possibly it worked but in an unanticipated way, etc., etc. I don't know of course, but have to say once the ep ended I found I really didn't care.

Well, I think Jack is utterly fooling himself that he can undo everything. I think large chunks of it was "fated" as it were, so wherever they begin next season (and there are lots of possibilities) I think that the show has basically told us that what happened, happened. And I think it was intended to happen. I don't think it can be undone. On the other hand, I do feel that they're intended to break a repeating cycle.
