Was there ever any doubt that this is the way it would play out in the end? Bell kept yammering on about how the triangle would be "good television," and now that Queen Diva is deigning to appear, they're gonna milk it for all it's worth. So it's "Chosen" redux, and who gives a damn about Dark!Wes, or the compromised Gunn, or why the hell Illyria was introduced at all (except for the fact it gave Joss another chance to wank out another of his "fabulous" death scenes), huh? Where "good television" is concerned, continuity really is for wusses.

And total morons like Roush (who I could not believe actually opined that BtVS never went into a downward spiral before it ended -- what show was he watching?) will eat it up with a spoon, keening all the while about how horrible it is that Angel was cancelled.

It might be the English swearing a lot more than the Americans thing, or working in a dealing room for over a decade, but I tend to use it when cut up by cretins in people movers on small roads, let alone that henious thing that was the titular character of a certain show for 7 years.
But was never a woman. Tara was a woman, Jenny was a woman, Joyce was a woman, Lilah and Cordy were women, Darla was a woman. Buffy was a cracked perversion of everthing that word means.
