1)  Got a freaking traffic ticket.  In a glorified parking lot for having a rolling stop instead of a 'complete' stop when no one was coming the other way!

2) Had to get up early on my day off to help teach one of my sister's students how to draw a science project on AutoCad... in two hours.  That's just nuts and rather unfair to the student and will ultimately result in my having to do more than half the work.  By Monday.

3)  My sister is nuts, yo!  (can go into why, but no real reason to. )

4)  I'm tired as shit of hearing about Tim Tebow and Tim Tebow's concussion.   I would never, ever root for an athlete to be hurt, but I'm plenty ready for this one to graduate  and enter the NFL draft if only so that ESPN anchors would stop sounding like they jack off to Tebow's picture and  game stats.

5)  I'm actually glad Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize if for no other reason than it pisses people off.

6)  It's October and it's flipping hot!  Not just a little hot, but insufferably, high humidity hot.

7)  My flu/asthma incuded cough simply will not go away.

Grumpy enough?

Much sympathy on the traffic ticket front-- i got one myself last week. Equally stupid avoidable reasons. Just annoying!

More or less with you on the Nobel thing. Posting about it on facebook has made the wack jobs come out of the woodwork though which is kind of entertaining!

Sympathy on the health front ! I've been suffering from asthma for a while now and i'm starting to get tired of it.:(

It's hot too for October.
And of course right with you on the Obama stuff. :D

Lovely grumpy list. :)

1. How unfair!
2. Not possible. It took me an entire semester to learn AutoCad.
3. Everyone has a nutty relative (or two).
4. Who's Tim Tebow?
5. Total agreement here. Anything that infuriates Rush Limbaugh can't be bad.
6. I'm listening to Minnesota Public Radio online, and Minneapolis had snow last night!
7. Sorry about this, too. Hope it gets better soon.

Some of my neocon friends are acting like they might kill themselves over this Nobel Prize. I think it's kind of hilarious that something that they say is *meaningless* is tearing them up so. Heh heh heh heh heh!!!!!

Grr awith traffic tickets.

The thing that kills me is that they're behaving as though winning the freaking Nobel Peace Prize is a bad thing... somehow... at least for him.

Idiots.

Sorry that you've been suffering with asthma too. Mine is rather intermittant, but the flu kick-started it and I cannot quite manage to get it back under control.

And if it's not hot, it's wet these days. It feels as though it has been raining for months. And soon as it stops raining it becomes steamy.

I had to do much of the drawing for her. I mean, the kid tried but it really is asking too much. I basically let her do the rough draft then I fixed things so that they'd actually be on center, dimensionally correct, etc.

Tim Tebow is the quaterback for the University of Florida (currently Florida is rated #1 in the country. We're #2). Three weeks ago he was hit and fell back in such a way that he fell into the leg of one of his own team's player and he got a severe concussion. This lead to excessive speculation over "would he/wouldn't he" play in last Saturday's game. What tends to make it annoying is that the sports announcers all but genuflect to the guy as they polish his halo. It's seriouslly way OTT, and has been going on for years. I end up feeling sorry for his teamates because as far as the press are concerned there's apparently no one else on the entire freaking team, at least no one that matters. It's all Tebow all the time (and it doesn't help that from his behavior, I've tended toward the impression that he also thinks it's all Tebow all the time. I swear a few weeks ago he looked angry that one of his team mates got the touchdown instead of him. One of his team mates). It would be sweet if we could beat him in the SEC Championship game. But, first, we have to win the Western devision, so no counting chickens yet. (We don't play them in regular season play, so we'd have to make the SEC Championship game to even play them.)

Snow? Wow. Weather is weird

I know. I mean, clearly, what we don't get is that winning the Nobel Peace Prize is a bad thing!

(Although, there was a post I read today that I thought nailed the reactions pretty well. There are people who hate Obama no matter what he does, so they have to justify that hate somehow. They embrace anything that validates their hatred (such as cheering for not getting the Olympics) and become absolutely irrational over anything that implies that other people -- who aren't them -- LIKE him.

Thanks.

And the more people bitch about the Peace Prize, the more I go 'heh.'
