What kind of calling list am I on?

Last week I was polled for the Republican run-off primary for governor, which, fine. I kind of like being polled for election stuff. (Though at this point I don't think I like either guy so I'm down to which I dislike less).

Then Friday I was push-polled about the supreme court. That has to be a push-poll, right? We don't vote on the supreme court! And, what's more, the only "option" on the poll was "Do you oppose yadda, yadda, yadda, whatever, a justice who will 'rubber stamp the Obama agenda'." What was the freaking purpose of this push poll?

Then today I got some weird thingie with "Dick Morris has a message..." I don't know about what "...about his appearance on Hannity tomorrow..."

I actually didn't wait around to hear the message. Don't care. I just told the call person that Dick Morris is a shithead and hung up (maybe that'll get me off the list?) Regretfully, I didn't say that Dick Morris is a shit head and Hannity is a triple shit head who needs to shut the hell up.

What kind of call list am I on anyway?

I was wondering the same thing about my email list. Despite the clear fact that I've been on MoveOn, DSCC, and a number of GLBT email lists for years, I'm suddenly getting emails from the far right, including both sides of the Arizona Republican Senate race (mmmm, Same Old Evil McCain or New Horrible Evil Haywood?) and the inflammatory "Obama loves them immigrants!" stuff from our governor. I read them and think "how did I get on your email list????"

Petzi Sis is on a mailing list for the Republican Party, they keep mailing her all these surveys about Obama ruining the country.
And the really big joke is, she doesn't vote.
