I'm just sort of fascinated that a group of professionals get together and this is the stuff that they come up with.
Who knows, maybe there's enough of a niche market to sustain it. Crazier things have happened. And, given the path of the comics, crazier stuff will happen. Then, we'll pop popcorn and snark about it. :)
