So tonight Glee is doing Britany Spears.  They'll have to go a ways to use "Hit Me, Baby, One More Time" better than Being Erica  did when they had time travelling Erica Strange using it in 1998 when she was having to relive (and change) her poetry class humiliation.

This is one of the reasons I've left off watching Glee - this determined effort to deify untalented pop singers. Madonna I can understand; the loathsome Spears and derivative Lady Gaga, not so much (even though I do like a few Gaga songs).

I love that scene! I wish I could rewatch it here at work, but alas. That was right after Ethan did his bullet poem, right? Ethan was funny back when he was in college; what happened to him during the "present" day?

It really was. Is Rachel supposed to be rootable? They keep acting like she is, but... she isn't really.

I thought Britteny's whacked out fantasy was far more fun.

Brittany's was pretty awesome. It sounded close to the original, and she was great at the dancing.
