Belated Fringe Comments
Mar. 28th, 2011 12:58 pmFirst -- yay! Early renewal for another year with a full 22-episode order. Yipee!
Second -- they really did fake me out there for a few minutes. I thought it might be entirely plausible that they'd let Fauxlivia die and leave the baby with Lincoln, as he'd have no desire to give it to Peter. (I think I could possibly ship Fauxlivia and Lincoln).
The fakeout that didn't work was the one involving Walternate. Come on, it was totally obvious from the beginning that Walternate was behind the kidnapping. Duh.
I also watched "Book of Eli" this weekend (it was awful) and "Eat, Pray, Love" (it was awful too. I'm actually trying to decide which was worse.) Both had lovely cinematography though. Great camerawork for ridiculously preachy, kiddiepool shallow scripts.

Date: 2011-03-28 07:41 pm (UTC)I must be really dense though because while I guessed that Brandon was involved, I thought he was doing it behind Walter's back because he wanted the baby to experiment on. Loved the real ending so much better. Walternate is such a sneaky bastard. Makes me love our Walter even more.
I also loved Lincoln and Charlie finally smelling the big hairy rat that is Walternate.
Also, Lincoln is a sexy beast in both universes. *g*

Date: 2011-03-29 01:26 am (UTC)The show has crossed the line --- there's too much damn pretty on it that my heads spinning - really bad. I love Lincoln Lee, and Peter and Charlie and Walter and Altliv and 'our' Olivia (unless I lay claim to the red world, although Francis Ford Coppola directing "Taxi Driver" - sigh, at least DeNiro got the part in both worlds:)...
Yes, very happy for Fringe renewal, too.
