Raising Hope: Bwha! Sweet, insane show.

The complete series of Farscape is on sale for $50. Wow. That's a bargain. I paid more than that for a single season.

My poor co-worker discovered today that the venue for her wedding (scheduled in two weeks) was more or less destroyed in the tornado outbreak. So now she's desperately looking for venues and a caterer as her original venue was to cater it as well.

One of the engineers we work with also sent a picture of his office today... the roof is gone and the ceiling literally crashed his computer.

And I bought a bunch of stuff at the pharmacy to donate to tornado victims. The office is collecting for one of the more rural towns that was destroyed.

I know. I felt so bad for her. They told her last night that the damage was severe. She had planned an outdoor wedding, but the park lost a lot of trees, and the reception hall lost part of its roof and there is severe water damage.

Needless to say, finding another venue on short notice (plus a caterer) is next to impossible. She's now looking as far north as Huntsville for a place.

That is a shame about your coworker. Those tornado's have about effected everyone. A older couple at our church's inlaws lost their mother and father in the storm. They were in a trailer, and had gone to a bigger one thinking it was safter. Well, all three people in were killed.
Thank you though for the information on Farscape. I don't have it on DVD, so that is quite a big deal for me. And they have the Peacekeeper's War for $9.69 as well.
