From the previews I've seen - haven't seen the show, they are doing weird things on AMC. Apparently Erica ends up in Oak Haven, and guess who is also there? Zach, Leo, Janet, and Dixie. All alive. And all locked up in rubber rooms. According to the preview that is.
Very weird. How are they going to transistion that to the web? Assuming they do.
I give Gellar credit for taking a page out of Nathan Fillion's book and respecting the soap that taught her the craft. There's a reason she could hit every mark, learn lines rapidly, and kiss well on Buffy - she had four years in the soap opera trenchs - soap opera work is hard. A lot of actors can't do it. You get your script literally an hour before you have to perform it. One take. Maybe two. No time to really rehearse. People have been known to write their lines on napkins. Marisa Tomei sucked at soap opera work - she got booted out fast.
