One of my cognitive science classmates recommended TBBT to me, but I just don't care for it. Then again, I'm not going to be watching Zooey Deschanel's show either. (Yes, that's her name. It's honestly not that hard to spell. And well, if it were, IMDb exists.)
As for Fringe, see icon. I love it. Passionately. Though I suspect my enjoyment will lessen if the Olivia/Peter romance nonsense comes back.
And no, I cannot deal with Doctor Who; the production values simply are too shoddy. BBC3 gets no money. Though I suspect that the plotlines would be no less ridiculous and/or offensive even with more funding. I mean, I'm a serious Anglophile, having a Bachelor's in English as a second language, but there are limits, dammit. Haven't seen more than Community's first season, and I don't particularly feel the urge even though I liked it well enough. I'd rather reread Gaudy Night for the umpteenth time.
