Fringe

I noticed last week that BtVS's David Fury was now listed as an executive producer of Fringe.  And this week Fury was listed as the episode's writer.   Overall the ep was   but the end with Walter?  ::shudder::  Oh Walter. ::shudder::

Show runner? Are Orci and the other guy out? (Admittedly, I don't watch the credits all that closely. I just noticed Fury's name popping up last week).

I haven't seen the show, its DVR'd, because I'm still wading through S2.
So about a season and a half behind.

All I know is Fury has jumped on to Fringe, which isn't bad...he's actually a better writer than the guys already on it. And he's quite good at middle-aged male horror/angst. He'll like Walter, great character played by great character actor, much like he probably love Locke on Lost. In some respects Fringe may be a better fit for Fury than Buffy was.

Generally I think he's fine. There was nothing wrong with the episode. And I definitely saw (rather immediately) what he was shooting for with the young kid's involvement with the MOTW being something that evoked Peter for Walter and Walter's history with Peter. Though the final bit with Walter (which I went OMG, Walter is going to _________! the scene before it happened) sort of overshadowed everything else. That will no doubt be what that episode is remember for because -- yikes!

So far this appears to be the theme in every MOTW in S1 and S2, nice to know they are consistent.

Well, there's a twist to it this season, but I won't spoil it. :)
