Funny, I was thinking about Star Trek the other day; more specifically, TNG -- I was looking up John de Lancie on something else he was doing and noticed he actually was only on TNG 8 times. He made quite an impact for such a small role, when you think on it; and some of the single-ep guests in the Classic Series did just as much.

(He also did three spots on Voyager and one on DS9)

I forgive Khan's fondness for Melville; after all, we certainly still read him today (and Dickens, for that matter, no matter what else may be out there). Classics are still classics, even in the 23rd Century!
