This show moves so fast! And is so damn fun. And I no longer suspect it. Nolan is now officially my favorite character on the show because of 2 scenes.
* The one where he summoned Tyler, dropping his jokey-smirky facade in an eye blink to authoritative smackdown then flipping the insta-switch back to jokey/smirky. Awesome.
* Nolan (notably, dressed in black and un-facade-like) blithely announcing he's a 3 on the Kinsey scale.
Fun! On the other fronts...
* Oooh! E-manda now has to deal with an A-mily... who murdered FRANK when he came searching for the truth on E-manda!
* Nolan makes a sex-tape with Tyler!
* Tyler confesses his con-man status (but not his rating on the Kinsey scale) to Ashely and now they're into social climbing together.
* A-mily murdered Frank!
* Lydia-the-mistress wakes up from comaland! Da-da-dummmmmm!
Whee!!
Caught up on Being Erica... and I'm feeling a bit unsettled. Was I supposed to walk away from that episode feeling that Erica was right in assuming it was all her fault? Because I don't. I think Adam was a douche!
It's one of those things where you wonder whether you're seeing what the show wants to see. Because... was I supposed to actually think that Erica was being super-controlling? Because, yeah, she was a little. But she also tried really, really hard not to be and it looked to me that no matter how she reacted she was screwed. And did I mention that Adam was a douche?
At least I finally feel like they gave me something to hang my hat on in not liking this pairing. I don't really hold out any hope for Erica/Kai, there's that whole defying time itself aspect. But, sheesh, Erica/Kai have infinitely more chemistry.
And did I mention that Adam is a douche?
