Wait! That's the name of the African American character who is hooking up with Carly on GH.
Seriously. It is. He's sort of Jason character...body guard, post-traumatic stress disorder, served in Afghanistan, yadda yadda yadda...
And unfortunately boring as all get out.
The show has become incredibly dull under Garin Wolf's direction. And excruciating in places...the highlight was this insane recrimination scene with Michael outting his mother for hiding the fact that Jax was alive and not killed by Sonny. (Note - she didn't know he was alive for certain, merely suspected or presumed it based on two small items - Jax's boat that he bought for her was missing and his mother never contacted her. But apparently that's enough to mean that she absolutely knew and was evil bitch momma from hell for not telling everyone her suspicions. Talk about ludicrious plotlines. It went on for three days...and was repetitive. I felt sorry for the actors who all looked like they were about to burst out laughing at the stupidity.)
Soap operas. Sigh. Yet, oddly, the Whedon Buffy comics are sillier. Actually so was the X-men for that matter. Which is oddly reassuring.
Regarding OLTL...so that was how they resolved the insane prison break out storyline I saw previewed after GH. We still get previews for OLTL after GH. At least they are having fun with OLTL. Half tempted to see how insane they go with GH - because it's getting canceled. There's no doubt in my mind it's not long for this world. They want to bring back all these people for reunions, but are struggling to keep the actors they have. Jonathan Jackson (Lucky) quit. Genie Francis refuses to budge from Y&R. And the gal playing Robin just quit. Rumor has it more to come. They may end in the same pathetic way that Guiding Light apparently did.
