1) go to google.com and type in "You know you're from (your state here) if..."
2) pick out whichever list strikes your fancy and bold the ones that apply to you.
3) post it in an entry.
You Know You're from Alabama When...
1) You've turned on the heat and the A/C in the same day.
2) You measure distance in hours
3) The local paper covers national and international news on one page, but it requires six pages for sports.
4) You know the seasons as Almost Summer, Summer, Still Summer, and Christmas I would add "football season" before Christmas.
5) You describe anything below 70 degrees as "chilly weather."
6) Any carbonated soft drink is referred to as a "Coke" regardless of brand or flavor.
7) If someone you know has used a football schedule to plan their wedding date.
8) If you think the people who complain about the humidity in their state are sissies.
9) If at 5pm on nearly every summer day you expect it to rain.
10) If you know the true value of a parking space is not the distance from the door but the availability of shade.
11) If you can properly pronounce Opelika, Etowah, Conececuh, Cheaha, Eufaula, Pintlala, and Oneonta ...and you know how to properly mispronounce Lafayette, Bayou Le Batre, and Uriah.

14) You've worn your coat three times in five years.
