I MISS OBSESSIVE FANDOM!

I MISS SPIKE!

What's so good about obsessive fandom (and Spike love) is that it gave something to obsess over other than my own life (er... huh... that means I feel a need to obsess over something doesn't it? I don't know if that's a good thing. Hmm).

But, yeah, fandom, BtVS, AtS, whatever gives something frivolous and inconsequential in the larger scheme of things to still care about passionately and it still all be harmless. It's such a wonderful distraction from real life.

I'm also writing. And I'm actually getting more accomplished on that front than I have in a very long time. Still, when real life is stressful I wish I had the kind of passionate distraction I used to have with the Spike Fandom. These days there's no urgency to any of it. . .and I REALLY need some distractions because real life is stressing me out.
