Seasons Change
Apr. 28th, 2006 09:01 pmI've been a bad, bad girl.
It just seems that most of my summer t-shirts have reached the faded just a bit too much stage so I hit Kohl's tonight. Which wouldn't be so bad if I hadn't hit Macy's a few weeks ago and spent enough to be quite substantial. It's just that the clothes I bought at Macy's were work clothes for the most part (well, I also bought one t-shirt there and a pair of capris that I've since regretted because they don't fit wonderfully. They're too big). Anyway, my desire for CASUAL summer clothes got to me, so I went to Kohl's and bought an armload of t-shirts, tanks, and camisoles. I found a pair of flat-front khakis for work (I've been looking for a nicely fitted pair of khakis for a while, so I was happy with that purchase. And they were CHEAP too... well, it was Kohl's so it's not exactly competing with the designer department in Macy's). Anyway, I spent a tad too much. It's just that I'm so darn long waisted that most of my camisoles (which I frequently wear under blouses) tend to just BARELY reach my waist (meaning I HAVE to wear them under blouses or they risk exposing belly-button which just isn't appropriate for me). These were long camisoles that I can wear under things and yet they actually went below my waist! (so I bought a white, a green, and a blue one).
Oh well. At least now I have some casual clothes for summer that don't look as though they've been washed 100 times (because they have been).
That and... God, I need to go on a diet!
