shipperxI'm sort of enjoying watching Days of Our Lives implode. Well, not actually WATCHING Days of Our Lives. There's no point in torturing myself with that crap. But I am sort of enjoying watching the fandom implode.
I'm evil. (Ha! See took the evil test and I'm 61% evil), so I'm actually enjoying the confusion of the ever insane Pink Ladies. They were probably the only fanfaction that looked at JER's return as headwriter as a remotely good thing. They were the same ones running around saying that the J&J fans were "overreacting" because they hate JER for firing Matthew. Now, poor Drake has been fired (this definitely seems to be the case. I have a friend who says she has two sources who have confirmed). Heh! There are even rumors that the Queen Dee herself has been fired (I'm not believing that one, but I will laugh evilly if it is true.)
So the firing list apparently has been:
Matthew Ashford (Jack)
Drake Hogestyn (John)
Suzanne Rogers (Maggie)
James Reynolds (Abe)
Since this all started with rumors of 6 to 8 being fired that still lives a couple to go. I give "Kate" fair odds (they have to kill a few women off if they keep killing off the guys), "Roman," "Victor," and "Nicole" possibilities.
Oh, and apparently they have fired 5 production people 3 directors, and 2 producers.
Now, can I hope that Days finally gets the comeuppance it deserves and tanks horribly? The only story on the show worth a damn is Lumi. And in other fun... Jen-Jen is rumored to become addicted to anti-depressants. Now that's funny -- a Horton drug addict and it be the saintly Jen-Jen to boot.
