Rumor: The Sex and the City movie is a go!
Fiction. Deals are still being finalized. That said, all signs point to this thing going before cameras in mid-September.
Me: Okay, I enjoy Sex and the City and enjoy the reruns when nothing else is on, but, really, what's there to make a movie about? I'd really rather not go round 3,000,006 of a Big/Carrie break-up/make-up. And I kind of like where they left the other women in the series. I would be sad if Charlotte/Harry broke up and I'd be sad if Samantha/Smith broke up. So, really, what's there to make a movie about that I'd want to see? (I guess they could break-up Big/Carrie and let Carrie find someone I actually liked, but really, that would never override the Big/Carrie thrust of the series, so what would be the point?)
