General Update
Apr. 17th, 2009 10:22 pm* Still buried at work with a lot of overtime. But, hey, I have a job, so no complaints.
* Still working on the Kitchen (etc) revamp. Kitchen is in a good pausing point (as I have to take some time to pay off what I've done before doing more). As part of what I've done, I'm repainting the dining room as well. I painted it a couple of years ago but always hated the color it turned out to be so when I widened the door between the kitchen and dining I intended to repaint dining. So I did. The same color that I painted the kitchen, only if you stood and looked you would swear that they're two entirely different colors. That's how much difference lighting makes. Anyway, I'm quite happy with the color in the kitchen, but I hate it in the dining room. So... looks like I'm repainting the dining room... again. *sigh*
* Rented "Slumdog Millionaire" tonight. Liked it. In some ways it reminds me of old black and white movies of some Frank Capra meets Dickens in India (only with more appealing love interests than Dickens ever managed). Anyway, I liked it.
* Nearly halfway through the new Dresden Files Turn Coat. Am enjoying it so far.
