Sigh... tired
Sep. 7th, 2003 07:01 pmFootball season is now upon us.
We lost (not surprising. We're unranked and played the number one team in the country... plus our poor team is sort of snake-bit at the moment what with our head coach quitting at the end of last year, the coach the University hired got caught with a stripper in his hotel room spending $1000 on BREAKFAST on the university credit card and got fired mid-summer, and they finally got a coach to come in mid-to-late summer. ) All in all the fact that we played well against Oklahoma is good enough.
Unfornately my actual alma mater got reamed by Georgia Tech.
The "fun" part of this was that traffic was AWFUL. It took 1 hour to make it from the stadium to the interstate (okay, so there was a 10 minute detour to Krispy Kreme. Hey, it was midnight and a long drive home! :)
Anyway after the 1 hour drive to the interstate, what is normally a 45 minute drive home was stetched out another 2 hours. All in all, I got home from the game a little after 2am this morning. . .and have been a complete bum all day.
Roll Tide.
