* Walt's mom is kind of a selfish bitch (seriously she makes the trip all the way back to the States and DOESN'T bring the kid for a visit? That's cold.)

* Walt, pay attention to the dog with self preservation instincts. When the dog wants to run, you probably need to run.

* It's a bear! You made a bear! Unmake it! (Sorry, Spike moment). Anyway. Whoa! That'a CGI bear. (And am I supposed to think that the bear arrived because of Walt's thing with the comic? They sure focused a lot on the bear in the comic).

* Mom didn't even give the kid the letters? Wow, mom really WAS a heinous, selfish bitch. All in all I think the plot with the Mom kind of sucks and doesn't make a lot of sense. If she's on good terms with Michael, why be such a bitch to him? How could Brian be so in love with her he'd ADOPT the kid and yet not actually want kids. Huh?

* Aw. Charlie did read the diary. And Claire liked Charlie. Of course she did.

* Mmmmm. Sayid still pretty.

* BETCHA Claire's had the baby and it's not with her. Betcha!!!

I know! And why didn't they read her diary right away, looking for clues? Charlie said she'd been the target, so wouldn't they think she might have had some idea why?

Yeah, it would have made sense to read it earlier. It's also rather contrived that Sawyer had it. Seriously, he had access to the luggage and he took the DIARY?! Huh? The only thing I can buy with that is curiosity.

And it's a damn shame they're so stuck on having Kate/Jack because there are a plethora of other options with greater chemistry.

Hah -- you took the words right out of my mouth. She was smiling at Charlie and he was smiling at her and I thought "Oooh! Forbidden UST because each belongs to another!" Then I thought what you said, just as I thought earlier, "Gee, she and Sawyer have chemistry even when she's glowering at him (and where have I seen this before?). However, she is still so dull, so dreadfully dull and boring with Jack." And I have to ask: why don't the producers see this?

Personally, I really only see chemistry between Kate and Sawyer. She had a big sister vibe going with Charlie.
