I'd never been on the WB Angel boards before, the Spike hate is just insane. I can see how someone like Lisbon would drive away fans of the character. Grr.

And yet I had to open my big fat mouth. Knowing full well that Trolls were out and about made no difference. Even feeling that Spike had moved on and my Spuffy feelings were not what they once were. The bait was there in the from of random Spike ( and James )bashing and I couldn't help myself.

Hey, go with it! The truth of the matter is to TV execs the running mode of thought is that it doesn't matter if feedback is positive or negative it's the amount of feedback PERIOD. So actually their unending venom is...well...sort of helping generate buzz! Hee!

(Besides, I freely admit I was just there enjoying myself by verbally poking them with a stick. :)

You know, I really don't think I can take any more Spike hate, no matter how puerile and risible it may be, so I won't be following the link, but kudos to you Lisa, and to anyone else who was prepared to go there and show them up for the idiots they are.

Don't worry about it. (Although if you want to post there you don't actually have to READ it. The way the board is set up you can just hit reply at the top of the page and the first post is pro-Spike.

hen they first heard about Marti's offer, they claimed that James can't get anything on his own.. I'm thinking this new bashing is due to the fact that they are freaking cause now he's turned down Marti's show and they have it from her own mouth. He's not taking just ANYTHING, he's being picky, and he told us that.. (and yes, apparently, he chose to be on the MOUNTAIN, my guess is because the character was a human, a father and not evil. You gotta admit, he did the best anyone could possibly do with that crap) Pierre Heist is a biography type thing, and if word of mouth is any indication, he's going to be fabulous.

Gloat gloat gloat. They can't make comment on the Pierre Heist unless they watch.

What's so damn funny is that they care so much that they seek it out. I mean, really, nothing attests to the power of Spike than not only the ubridled love, but the unbridled, isanely passionate irrational hate that he inspires. He's just awesome! Hee!
