Modern Family -
So many people made such a big thing about a Cameron/Mitchell kiss over the summer and so many people were expecting something different in the episode a couple of weeks about Mitchell having issues with PDA (and they slipped in that background you-may-have-missed-it) kiss in that episode as their first on-air kiss.  Anyway, with that whole 'deal' out of the way, how adorable was the completely unadvertised, unanticipated shaving cream kiss this week?  So awwww. :)

Cougar Town -
Busy Phillips deserves some credit, y'all.  She totally sold me on her heartbreak  and I'm not talking about her break-up with Smith.  In the scene where Jules was breaking-up BFFs with her, I totally bought that Laurie was devestated by that.  So, of course, I was very glad that when Smith broke up with her, Jules put-aside her miff and went to support her friend.  Plus, LOL, at Andy taking his wife's place and having Jules paint his nails and gossip.  Hearts Andy. :)  

Being Erica -
Kai!!!  Um, okay.  Sue me, I think he's hot, okay?  I don't know particulary why I find him so hot (other than he's JM's younger doppleganger) but I totally find him to be hot and to have great chemistry with 'Erica'.   That said, I can totally see where this is going.  I mean, I've always pretty much known that Kai is not an option.  For one thing in the here and now he's only 22 (sure when time travelling he's in his thirties, but the thing is it's future Kai who knows her not present 22 year old Kai.  Add in that Kai slept with her sister, and I just tend to think that Erica/Kai aren't going to ever end up in the same time and place together, so I get where this new guy comes in. I see what you're doing there, show.  Unlike time travelling Kai of the future, time travelling Adam is of the same time and place as Erica and they're trying to build a friendship with Adam and Erica.  Unlike Ethan/Erica there are no secrets.  Adam knows about the time travelling (much like Kai does) but unlike Kai, Adam is of the here and the now.  And generally I'm not against the concept of building the friendship with a bit of UST. (Though isn't it a bit obvious that Adam is the only group member she consistently interacts with?)  Anyway, this was the first time I saw any real chemistry between Adam and Erica.  On the other hand there's loads of chemistry between Erica and Kai.  But I totally thing that the show is aiming toward Adam and Erica.  Too many signs point that way.  Which is fine.  I have no legitimate complaints, other than I still find I like Kai.  But, hey, Adam may grow on me.  In other news, Brent seems to be getting a wake-up call with the asshole author, and I've been waiting for the shoe to drop to Erica that her mom has cancer.  Poor both of them. :(
