So, basically, 90% of TV last night was the weather.  I ended up having to download Glee to watch it.

Glee
Does this show realize how annoying and unlikeable they've made both Will and Rachel?  Seriously, even her singing annoys me now (and she has the pipes.  It's just... sooo affected and not in an endearing way any more.  Mercedes has to play Frank-N-Furter to get a starring role...not that Rachel wasn't the right choice for Janet.  Just that I'm sick of her being the epicenter of all production numbers).   And Will thinking that on any planet whatsoever that it would be remotely okay for him to play Rocky. Seriously?  Has he completely forgotten that he's supposed to be a teacher?! Step aside, Will.  You can't compete with John Stamos.  Just accept it.  (Though I will say new blond kid looks good in lame speedos).  Loved the Meatloaf and Barry Bostwick cameo though. And when is Puck coming back?

Raising Hope
I think this is the only new show that's really growing on me.   Saw the ep last week about family picture day, and that was pretty funny.  And watched both episodes last night.  The Halloween episode with the flashbacks of Jimmy's dad scaring the shit out of Jimmy each year, just so that Jimmy would run home, throw his arms around Dad and give 'good hugs' was just so wrong and funny and sweet all at the same time.  (As was his ending up having to watch over the girl he's hung-up on because she was black-out drunk at a Halloween party, ending with his taking her home and leaving her to sleep it off on his family's sofa.   Hey, at least she's safe... though probably shocked when she woke up the next morning).  Also funny was the follow-up "parents lie" episode where Jimmy discovers his mom lied to him about all manner of things when growing up, followed by his discovering that Mom actually believed some of it because Maw-Maw lied to her when she was growing up (and she still doesn't know).  Again, so wrong and yet simultaneously good hearted, since the bizarre lies were either mostly harmless (LOL at his discovering that he actually was allergic to some fruit   with  Mom taking that as retroactive validation for her having lied about his being allergic all these years)  or the lies were to protect the one being lied to.  (Grandma actually walked out on Mom as a kid because Grandma wanted to be a swinger, so MawMaw lied to Mom saying that Grandma died by plastic lawn ornament o.O ...and bees and a plastic bag.    It was uneccesarily complicated lie. ;)  )  Anyway, thus far I've liked the combo of twisted and wrong but somehow sweet and loving at the same time (Maw-Maw was just trying to help! LOL).
